About Me

Hi, I'm Amber!

Hi, I’m Amber, Mum to three little people and your Kangatrainer for Ormeau, Pimpama and Surrounds.

Kangatraining is a multi-award winning, postnatal exercise program combining dance, cardio and strength training in a low impact, full body workout.

We invite anyone to attend, as long you are 6 weeks post vaginal birth or 12 weeks post c-section and have clearance from your medical team (GP or Physio).

Come meet other mums, bubs and toddlers whilst being active in a fun and relaxed environment. Honestly, Kanga has a vibe that will keep you coming back for the infectious happy, upbeat feeling of doing something wonderful for you each week (trust me, I’ve been back as a Mum after two babies).

No need to worry about an unsettled baby or rambunctious toddler just come as you are because we’re all in this together. No one gets and understands you better than other Mums going through similar/shared experiences. Most babies fall asleep in the carrier during our class and toddlers love to join in the action too, either from the carrier or beside you (mostly), when they’re not busy playing with others.

If you don’t have a baby carrier, don’t worry, we have several you’re welcome to hire for free and can try different types before you consider investing in one.
Our class will follow the same structure each week – Warm Up, Floor Work, Pop Dances, Squat or Lunge Track, Latin Dances, Arms Track, Barre, Repeaters, Cool Down, Pelvic Floor Work and Final Stretches.

I have been there as a new KangaMum so feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. We look forward to you joining us at Kangatraining soon.

– Amber
