Ciao!
I am Elle.
I'm an Italian mama to a busy little girl (16 months). I live in Berowra and I run Kangatraining classes around Hornsby and the Mt Ku-ring-gai area.
I like thinking of my classes more as a fun boogie workout, where mums and bubs move safely together while bonding with one another.
I wish I had been able to attend a Kangatraining class with my daughter, especially during the early months as a first time mum and whilst experiencing postpartum depression. Unfortunately, there was nobody in the area which then inspired me to do the training myself.
Being a trainer now, allows me to get some exercise safely, while bonding with my little bub and connecting with some amazing mothers.
I love playing 70's-80s disco as well as POP music and I am always up for song requests so that you and your bub can boogie to your favourite song.
If you have more than one bub, that's great bring them over! Older kids often like to dance along or play with their new friends they met.

This first term is a gentle introduction to Kangatraining. A chance for you to try the class while I settle into our new group and space in the community.
The first 4 weeks of this term will serve as an introductory period, offered at a special rate of $10 per class. Then bookings will be open with limited spots for the remaining term ($102 for a 6 CLASS pass).

If you are worried that Kanga class will clash with your baby’s nap time : the babywearing component plus the movement often emulates a similar experience to when baby was in the womb. This means that there is probably a high chance that your little one will fall asleep half way through our class. 🙂
There is plenty of free parking onsite.
Note on accessibility : there are a few steps into the venue (sadly no ramp). I will be ready and happy to give you a hand with prams!
About the class : Class starts with some warm up with babies in arms, followed by floorwork focusing on core and pelvic floor muscles. Babies are then safely fitted into carriers, to do some fun, low-impact full-body workout incorporating movements such as squats, lunges, arms, stretches, and pelvic floor exercises. Stretches and a short circle chat at the end of the class.
