Postpartum safe and suitable for all fitness types, this class is a great way to return to exercise postpartum whilst satisfying your baby’s needs at the same time through safe baby wearing practices. A mixture of pilates-style exercises begins the class before we transition to the main dance cardio and strengthening workout. We finish with pelvic floor and stretching exercises. Toddlers and young children are always welcome in our classes.
Mothers group option available which follows on after the Kangatraining class. The Keeping Mum Mother Group is mum-focused, connection-based and suitable for all mothers (1st, 2nd, 3rd or 5th time mums!).

Hi, I'm Grace!
I started Kangatraining when I was 7 weeks postpartum. I was desperate for connection, for friends that understood. With a new baby, I also had anxiety of being in public and being unable to comfort my baby when he cried (he cried a lot, and slept very little), so I also needed a safe space that provided support and no judgment. I found Kangatraining and it gave me everything I needed, plus a fun, stress-relieving, grin-inducing form of safe postpartum exercise that helped strengthen my body.
Many of my classes are followed by a Keeping Mum Mothers Group, because I believe that supporting a mother isn’t just about helping her build confidence and energy back into her body. It’s about providing a holistic program that meets her needs for connection, validation, compassion AND to feel spolit! This is so important regardless of whether she is a first-time or fifth-time mum, or whether she has a baby, a toddler or both!
Come join me and find your mum tribe. Come find whatever it is you need. Whether it be support, laughter, or acceptance, to things like cardio workout and abdominal muscle recovery – it is here waiting for you.
