Kangatraining is specifically designed for postnatal women – it is the ultimate babywearing workout for mums and bubs. We focus on rebuilding your entire body after pregnancy and birth, through a fun & energetic class. There is no age limit for babies as long as every mother participating in Kangatraining can wear their baby safely and comfortably. Older siblings are welcome to come along too. Our Cook class is held in Studio 1 at Ballet Canberra, within the Cook Community Hub. After class we love to walk down to Little Oink for a coffee and catchup!

Our outdoor KangaMix program gives you the choice to babywear or bring your pram! We focus on rebuilding your entire body after pregnancy and birth with interval training, as we walk and talk and absorb the Vitamin D and fresh air! You can begin Kangatraining as early as 6 weeks postpartum if you’ve had a vaginal delivery but need to be at least 12 weeks postpartum if you’ve had a c-section – you must also have been given the all clear from your health professional. Older siblings are welcome to come along on their scooters or walk, and I bring bubbles to keep them entertained! After our workout we relax at the On Lake cafe with a coffee.

Hi, I'm Kirstie!
Hi I’m Kirstie! I am a Mum of 5 and you may have heard of me as I have owned and run GymbaROO Canberra since February 2016. I’ve always been passionate about movement for our babies and kids and I love how I can turn that focus to Mother’s with Kangatraining!
I am currently studying a Diploma of sports and exercise science and my Certificate III in Fitness; I have a passion for fitness and I have recently returned to ballet. I promise my classes will be high energy, and so much fun – lets live to move together!
