Kangatraining is specifically designed for postnatal women – it is the ultimate babywearing workout for mums and bubs. We focus on rebuilding your entire body after pregnancy and birth, through a fun & energetic class. There is no age limit for babies as long as every mother participating in Kangatraining can wear their baby safely and comfortably. Older siblings are welcome to come along too. Our Cook class is held in Studio 1 at Ballet Canberra, within the Cook Community Hub. After class we love to walk down to Little Oink for a coffee and catchup!
Your first class is a free trial, then you can attend casually for $25, or save money by booking a class pass: 3 classes are $66 and 10 classes are $200. These passes do not expire, and do not need to be used in consecutive weeks. Bonus: the passes work across all locations – Coombs, Cook, Mitchell and Lake Ginninderra!

KangaTrail is for Mums and bubs that love walking, talking and exercising all at the same time! This class takes you on a walking track with short exercise intervals that concentrate on your thighs, buttock, abdominals and your pelvic floor. Kangatrail is definitely more than just a walk with your baby. You can begin KangaTrail as early as 6 weeks postpartum if you’ve had a vaginal delivery but need to be at least 12 weeks postpartum if you’ve had a c-section – you must also have been given the all clear from your health professional.
KangaTrail is an effective way to increase your cardiovascular endurance while increasing your strength. Mums without a baby can also participate in KangaTrail as it’s still an ideal workout to get results.
Note this trail is not suitable for most prams, so babywearing is essential. If you do not have a Kanga approved carrier, you can borrow one of mine for FREE!

Hi, I’m Kirstie!
I’m a mum of 5 with a passion for supporting women through their postnatal journey. I love helping mums feel strong, confident, and connected in their bodies again after pregnancy and birth.
I’ve completed my Diploma of Sport and Exercise Science, bringing evidence-based knowledge into every class I teach. I’m also a qualified babywearing consultant, so you can feel confident you and your baby are safe, supported, and comfortable in every session. I’ve recently returned to ballet, which fuels my love of movement and flow.
My classes are high-energy, supportive, and fun — because movement should feel good, not like a chore. Let’s move together 💜
What is Kangatraining?
Kangatraining is a postnatal-specific workout designed for mums and their babies. It’s the ultimate babywearing class — combining cardio, strength, and pelvic floor–safe exercises to help rebuild your body after pregnancy and birth.
You can start from:
• 6 weeks postpartum (vaginal birth)
• 12 weeks postpartum (c-section)
with clearance from your health professional
There’s no upper age limit for your baby, as long as they can be worn safely and comfortably. Older siblings are always welcome too!
