Kangatraining
At a Kangatraining class, expect a fun and safe workout designed for mums and their little ones. You’ll enjoy low-impact exercises tailored to strengthen postnatal muscles, improve fitness, and promote bonding—all while wearing your baby close in a carrier. Classes are supportive, inclusive, and a great way to connect with other mums in a relaxed environment.
PreKanga
This safe workout combines light cardio, strength training as well as pelvic floor preparation for your upcoming delivery. Myofascial release techniques are also used to help with loosening up those tight muscle groups.
KangaBurn
Kangaburn is a high-impact, functional workout that targets full-body strength for everyday movement. It combines HIIT with bursts of intense exercise and recovery phases, along with myofascial release to ease deep muscle tension. The class is adaptable for all fitness levels.
Powerhouse
This program addresses common pelvic floor weakness, offering education and tools to help women strengthen their pelvic floor and improve issues like urinary leakage, gas control, and sensation during sex. It’s designed to empower women to build a strong foundation for their health.

Hi, I'm Mel!
Hi, I’m Mel, proud mum of two wonderful boys.
With a background in dance, staying active has always been important to me. After my youngest son was born, I discovered Kangatraining when he was just 4 months old, and I fell in love with it instantly. It gave me a way to stay fit and do something for myself, all while keeping my baby close.
I now run a variety Kanga classes in the Macarthur area, and I love connecting with other local mums. Alongside being a Kangatrainer, I’m also a certified Babywearing Consultant, Doula, and Infant First Aid Educator.
At Kangatraining you’ll meet a great group of mums, get strong, fit and have fun in a safe and welcoming environment. You can commence classes from 6 weeks postpartum or 12 weeks after a c-section and have had the all clear from a health professional.
I look forward to welcoming you to a class soon!
