Hello mums and bubs, my name is Tara Singh and I am a mum to an almost 2-year-old daughter! I am running Kangatraining class in Ballarat and looking forward to bringing it back to the area! My other job whilst being a mum is in Health Information Management.

Kangatraining is postnatal babywearing workout! There are 13 parts of this 60-minute session ranging from a combination strength and cardiovascular exercises approved by midwifes and physiotherapists.

Book a KangaTraining Class With Me

Before attending this class you have to be 12 weeks after C Section OR 6 weeks after vaginal delivery AND approved by your doctor! This ensures that you have given your body time to recover. Please note also that once you have booked for the first time that you will receive a health questionnaire link or form to complete prior to the class so I can understand your fitness needs.

About Me

Hi, I'm Tara!

Welcome to Kangatraining Ballarat! This will provide another mum and bubs alternative exercise class back to the community.

My motivation to become an instructor:

Prior to having my daughter, I enjoyed the physical and mental health benefits exercise provided! When my daughter arrived I struggled to enjoy exercise with her as it wasn’t as intense and social as what I was used to, and she was and still is very clingy. I didn’t have Kangatraining in my community at the time, but when I came across my doula doing the Kangatraining instructor course I became curious. I had tried to go to a gym with a creche but wasn’t always successful in doing a workout as she was too clingy. I felt that if I was feeling like this, I was sure other mums would too and that is what motivated me to become an instructor.
